Where do we find you in Venice?

Venice City is divided into three different areas: the Historic Centre, the smaller islands of the lagoon and the mainland districts. The “Mini Suites Al Giardino” apartments are located in one of the mainland districts (Venice – Favaro) and it is very near the historic centre of Venice and downtown Mestre. You can enjoy the vicinity of the old city avoiding high costs and unnecessary difficulties. In fact, you cannot visit the Historic centre of Venice by car, you can visit it only on foot or with the local water transport service.

Is the price per room or per person?

We offer two price packets:

Is breakfast included?

All rooms are fitted with a kitchenette allowing guests to prepare themselves snacks and meals whenever they please.

Do you have time restrictions for arrival and departure?

Normally it is possible to check in after 12.00PM, however we accept arrival also between 8.00AM and 12.00PM when you can leave your luggage and collect your keys. The check out is by 10.30AM

Which floor are the apartments on?

The apartments are situated in a detached house and are on the ground and first floors (U.S. 1st and 2nd).

Are the apartments peaceful, discreet and cosy?

Yes, these self-catering apartments are peaceful, discreet and cosy. All the apartments are fully furnished and have double-glazed windows, their own bathroom with a double spa massage shower and air-con. They are furnished in a Titian red color-scheme and are well-lit.

Are bed linen and towels supplied or must we bring them with us?

Included in the price we supply a complete fresh set of bed linen per room and bath towels that are replaced twice a week.

Are the rooms no smoking?

All the apartments are no smoking.

Is there a TV in the apartments?

Yes, all the apartments have a TV.

Is there a telephone in the apartments?

No, there isn’t a telephone in the apartments.

Do the apartments have air conditioning?

Yes, every apartment is equipped with independent air conditioning included in the price.

Do you have an Internet point or can I connect to Internet in the apartment?

No, but Internet cafés are plentiful in the centre of the city, you’ll have no trouble finding one.

Do the owners live nearby?

Yes, they live very close by and can be contacted at any time on their mobile.

Can we come and go at any time?

Yes, all guests are given apartment keys, allowing them complete freedom and independence.

Can we come and go as we please?

Together with the key of the room we supply also the keys for the main entrance allowing you to be totally independent.

Is parking available?

On street parking readily available right in front of the apartments. However, should you require different arrangements this can be provided.

Where is the nearest bus stop?

The bus stop is a matter of meters from the apartments both for buses coming from and going to Venice and all the transport hubs.

How easy is to reach the Historical Center of Venice from your apartments?

Very easy. You can take bus n.19, 15, 4 or 84 from the public ACTV bus service (with line number 19, the journey lasts 15 minutes). The buses will take you as far as Piazzale Roma – Venice bus terminal.

How late do the buses run from Venice to the apartments?

The last bus n. 4 returning to the apartments leaves the Historical Center - Piazzale Roma at 01.00AM.

Where do we buy tickets for the bus?

In Venice the one-way tickets for buses are sold in tobacco shops and in newsagents. Other than one-way tickets you can buy time tickets for the land bus service and the waterbus service. The company running the public transport on Venice island and mainland is called ACTV. It is possible to buy the VeniceCard that, other than transport, also includes access to museums, use of public toilets and the entry to the casinos of the city.

Which is the closest Railway station?

The Venice - Santa Lucia Station: go to Piazzale Roma and take either bus n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the 3rd stop of Via Altinia in Venice - Favaro district: the apartments are just across the road from the bus stop.

How do we get to the apartments from Venice - Mestre Railway Station?

From Venice - Mestre Railway Station you can take bus n. 15 and get off in Piazza Pastrello in Venice - Favaro district, then change bus taking either n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the 2nd stop of Via Altinia: the apartments are just across the road from the bus stop.

How do we arrive at the apartments by car?

From the motorway take Mestre Tangenziale (no-toll motorways) exit "Terraglio" and then head for Venezia. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light (Venice - Favaro direction) and when you reach Piazza Pastrello, turn left into Via Altinia. About 150m along the road, opposite a gas station, you’ll see the Mini Suites al Giardino Apartments.

How do we get to the Mini Suites al Giardino Apartments from Venice - Marco Polo Airport?

From Venice - Marco Polo International Airport take bus n. 15, get off in Piazza Pastrello in Venice - Favaro district, then change bus and take either n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the 2nd stop of Via Altinia: the apartments are just across the road from the bus stop.

How do we get to the Mini Suites al Giardino Apartments from Venice – Treviso Airport?

Take the Eurobus Service ATVO shuttle to Venice, then from Venice Historic Centre take either the no. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the third stop in via Altinia in Venice-Favaro. The apartments are just across the road from the bus stop.

Is there a restaurant in the property?

No, but there are many good restaurants, trattorie and pizzerias in the vicinity.

What is the booking procedure?

Please fill in the form on the “on-line booking” page of this site. In accordance with Italian legislation and IAH (International Hotel Association) and FIAVET (International Federation of Travel Agents) regulations a booking is considered valid once a booking deposit has been paid. The booking deposit can be paid by paying the cost of the first night of the accommodation with a credit card or 50% of the cost of the whole stay if the payment is made with a money order.
