Public transport in Venice
The Venetian public transport system is owned by a company called ACTVwhich runs buses on the mainland and vaporetti (water buses) on Veniceisland. Other than one-way tickets you can purchase time-tickets valid both onland buses and on vaporetti as far as the islands of the lagoon.
You can choose between a 24-hour and a 72-hour ticket, at Euro 10,50 andEuro 22, 00 respectively. The time will start from the moment of the firststamp inside the bus and not from the moment of purchase.
These fares allow you to travel with a small piece of hand luggage.
You might also want to consider the VeniceCardticket that has duration of 24, 72 hour or one week including land and watertransportation, entrances to the civic museums and the local casinos and use ofthe public toilets.
From Venice-Marco Polo InternationalAirport
From Venice- Marco Polo International Airport take no. 15 bus, get off in Piazza Pastrelloin Venice- Favaro district, then change bus, taking n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the2nd stop of Via Altinia. Right opposite the bus stop you will see the "AlGiardino" Bed and Breakfast where you can check into your “Mini Suites AlGiardino".
From Venice-Treviso Airport
From Venice- TrevisoAirport take the "Eurobus Service ATVO" shuttle to Venice.When you arrive at the Historic Centreof Venice (Piazzale Roma) take bus n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the3rd stop of Via Altinia in Favaro district. Right opposite the bus stop youwill see the "Al Giardino" Bed and Breakfast where you can check intoyour “Mini SuitesAl Giardino".
From Roads and Motorways/Highways
From the Tangenziale (no-toll motorway) and Motorway take Mestre exit"Terraglio" and then follow direction “Venezia”. Turn left at the 2ndtraffic light (Favaro direction) and when you reach Piazza Pastrello, turn leftinto Via Altinia. You will find our "Al Giardino" bed and breakfast after500 meters just opposite a gas station where you can check into your “Mini Suites AlGiardino".
From Venice - Mestre Railway Station
From Venice- Mestre Railway Station you can take bus n. 15 and get off in Piazza Pastrelloin Venice- Favaro district, then change bus and take n. 19, 84 or 4 and get off at the2nd stop of Via Altinia: our Bed and Breakfast “Al Giardino”is just in front of the bus stop (the journey lasts approx. 20 minutes), hereyou can check into your “Mini SuitesAl Giardino".
From Venice-Historic Center, Venice -Santa Lucia Railway Station, Venice Port (Venice Passenger Terminal)
